Prairie Windmill is a rotational block pattern where four triangles spin around a central point to create the iconic windmill. At its simplest it uses just two fabrics; at its richest, it accepts an entire scrap bin. The blocks come together quickly with basic rotary cutting and the result has the happy, unpretentious energy of traditional American quiltmaking.
